HYDRA GOLD – TETHER

Hydra of Lerna, more often know simply as Hydra of ancient Greek and Roman mythology, was a serpentine water monster that dwelled at the gates to the Underworld. Hydra possessed many heads, the exact number of which varies. It is said that its heads would regenerate and regrow if an enemy were to cut them down. Our interpretation of this ancient beast is shown here with contrasting lines weaving and wrapping around each other.
